Pride Mechanical Paul HVAC professional

Paul Hinojosa – Owner, Pride Mechanical HVAC

Our Story

When it comes to passion and professionalism in Northern Colorado, no one combines both better than Paul Hinojosa, owner and founder of Pride Mechanical. Paul started working in HVAC at the age of 15 and has never looked back. He learned the HVAC business under the wings of his father, who was a Fort Collins shop foreman. His dad always wanted to own his own business, and proudly displayed Pride Heating and Air on his storage shed door. While Paul’s father never had the opportunity for business ownership, Paul did in 2015 after his long-time employer closed up shop unexpectedly. Paul took a risk jumping into business ownership—not just to employ his fellow co-workers, but also to ensure clients he had worked with for years had a reliable heating and cooling expert they could count on and trust. He also wanted to make his dad’s dream come true, which is why Paul named his business Pride Mechanical.

With three co-workers, the support of his wife Jeannien, and his personal vehicles, Paul founded Pride Mechanical in the summer of 2015. He reached out to former customers, and within weeks, word-of-mouth referrals turned into more HVAC, dairy, commercial, and residential heating, air, and plumbing work than Paul and his lean crew could handle. Never one to fold, Paul quickly hired more former co-workers and now has five full-time EPA expert HVAC certified technicians and a fleet of work vehicles.

Born in Greeley and raised in Windsor, Paul and his wife Jeannien reside in Severance with their twin daughters Nevaeh and Brooklyn and son Paul, Jr. (who goes by Pablo). Paul graduated from Windsor High School and received his Associate of Occupational Studies degree from the Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Paul also received his EPA Certification and EPA Refrigerant Certification while at school and would later receive his North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Certification, Master Mechanical License, and Master Pipe Fitter License. Paul started working in HVAC during the summers while in middle and high school and has more than 16 years in the trade, 7 of which were as an HVAC manager, 2 as an operations manager. And one now as a business owner.

Taking pride in his work has led to Paul becoming a go-to expert of Windsor residents and international businesses alike.
